Celebrating Black History Month

We were fortunate enough to be brought on board by BC Hockey to assist them in producing their feature for Hockey Canada’s celebration of Black History Month in January 2021. We produced a profile on Donovan Tait, a Nanaimo minor hockey coach and sergeant at the local RCMP detachment, chronicling Donovan’s journey from Jamaica all the way to Canada, where he fell in love with the game of hockey. A single day’s work—our two-person crew shot the off-ice components in the early afternoon and the on-ice footage in the evening—this piece was featured nationally on Hockey Canada’s social media platforms.
