OUR STORY

We opened our doors in 2015 with the aim of helping businesses and organizations across Western Canada stand out from the pack with high-quality video production. Since then, we’ve gone international, helping brands of all sizes tell their stories and elevate their marketing efforts through compelling visual content.

Founders Mike Walker & Amanda Eyolfson first joined forces when enrolled in BCIT’s Broadcast Journalism program, where the Roll.Focus. brand was coined as part of a student project. Nearly five years later, the name was revived as a full-service video and live stream production shop servicing both Victoria & Vancouver.

Together, Mike and Amanda built a team of dedicated professionals who share a passion for creating meaningful work for great clients. Following Mike’s passing in October 2025, Amanda continues to lead Roll.Focus. with the team while honouring the example Mike set— not only through his pursuit of excellent work, but the way he approached every challenge with unwavering integrity, curiosity, courage, and kindness.

Amanda Eyolfson

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Amanda is a founding partner and the creative mastermind at Roll.Focus.

A grad of the University of Saskatchewan and British Columbia Institute of Technology, Amanda has extensive experience in media relations and marketing including four years at Tourism Victoria as Media Relations Manager.

Mike Walker

Founder - In Loving Memory

Our beloved Mike, who co-founded Roll.Focus., passed away after a long battle with brain cancer on October 4, 2025.

This former sports broadcaster and CHEK News anchor combined a love for media and a passion for community events, leading a crew that brings network-quality production to local teams, events, and businesses. A firm believer in the power of live broadcasts to unite audiences and spark conversation, Mike was driven to help organizations of all sizes access an unrivaled platform to share their story.

Tyler Bennett

Managing Producer

Born and raised in Victoria, Tyler is a graduate of Belmont High School and BCIT’s Broadcast & Online Journalism Program. Splitting duties in the CHEK Sports Department for numerous years, Tyler joined Roll.Focus. as a full-time employee in 2019.

Tyler’s passion lies in sports, visual storytelling, and a good slice of pie.

Morgan Miles

Managing Producer

Morgan Miles is a media professional with a degree in Professional Communications from Royal Roads University and a diploma in TV and Video Production from BCIT. He believes in the constant pursuit of knowledge and is always learning and improving to make each project stronger than the next.

With a passion for storytelling and technical expertise, Morgan thrives in dynamic environments. Though not the tallest in stature, his impact is anything but small, delivering big results with precision and creativity.

Our live stream team is composed of a diverse set of broadcast professionals, with experts in graphics, instant replays, commentary and everything in between. We select the key crew for each broadcast to ensure the show runs smoothly when we’re live on air.

Barbosa (Barbie)

Team Support

The furriest member of the team knows how to keep everyone on their toes. This sweet girl is plenty of entertainment (and therefore a great distraction from the edit suite). Babs lives by the philosophy “beach hair, don’t care.”
