Elevating Educational Tours

When the COVID-19 pandemic meant the Capital Regional District (CRD) could no longer facilitate school tours at their Hartland Landfill facility, they shifted the program online, allowing hundreds of students from across Vancouver Island to watch live and interact with the host from the comfort of their classrooms! With only a cellular signal to work with in the field, our camera crew transmitted the live images back to our studio, where our broadcast director added graphics and orchestrated the whole show remotely.
